The Saturn 1B was an American launch vehicle commissioned by NASA. Twelve were ordered, however only nine were launched, and only seven actually put payloads into Earth's orbit. Five Saturn 1Bs supported project Apollo, three orbited Skylab crews, and one final Saturn boosted the Apollo/Soyuz Test Project mission.
