Apollo 11 Modules
The Apollo 11 mission featured two key spacecraft: the Command Module (CM) and the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM).
The Command Module, named "Columbia," served as the crew's main living and control center, responsible for reentry and splashdown on Earth.
The Lunar Excursion Module, known as "Eagle," was designed for the lunar landing. It carried two astronauts to the Moon's surface and safely returned them to the Command Module in lunar orbit.
