APOLLO 16 LUNAR SURFACE FLOWN BETA WITH LUNAR DUST + CM FLOWN RING ACRYLIC

Apollo 16 flew to the moon april 16th - 27h 1972 with the crew John Young, Charlie Duke and Ken Mattingly.

Acrylic containing lunar surface flown beta cloth with MOONDUST ! along with a CM flown metal ring - both pieces from the collections of Charlie Duke and John Young !

Made in Germany - the best acrylics on the market

Made out of the most advanced acrylic available on the market today - Plexid 55 - these are ultraclear with no discoloration over time. Unlike other privately made acrylics or lucites these are real blocks, not cheaply glued or screwed together. Each block is about 5''x 3''x 1'' in size - perfect for any office table or even flat down in a cabinet.

The LUNAR SURFACE FLOWN strap fragment used in the Lunar Module "Orion" is from the personal collection of Charlie Duke whom we personally acquired it from - a copy of his letter of authentication will come with the acrylic.

Each strap fragment is coated with real lunar dust that can be seen with the naked eye as slight greyish smudges compared to plain white regular beta cloth and even better under a microscope (x60 recommended) where tons of grains easily become visible !

Important note : Lunar dust from the Apollo mission as part of a legally obtained artifact is legal to own !

The metal ring is from a bungee strap used onboard the command module and comes from the personal collection of John Young. A copy of the original COA will be also part of the acrylic offer !

Only 30 such acrylics were made and each comes with a COA and documentation about the background of the artifacts.
