Gemini XII Mission Lapel Pin

Gemini XII Mission Lapel Pin - The Space Store

Gemini XII was the final crewed flight of the Gemini program, which bridged the Mercury and Apollo programs.

Astronauts Jim Lovell and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin rendezvoused and docked with the Agena target vehicle to conduct three Extravehicular Activity (EVA) operations, a tethered stationkeeping exercise, and docking maneuvers using the Agena propulsion system to change orbit.

This event marked multiple important demonstrations of NASA’s accomplishments, most notably the automatic reentry upon completion of the mission.

This lapel pin honors both Lovell and Aldrin and features original art from the Gemini program.

Apollo 11 Lunar Plaque Lapel Pin

APOLLO 11 LUNAR PLAQUE LEFT ON THE MOON - LAPEL PIN - The Space Store

The Apollo 11 mission was a turning point in space exploration, marking the first time humans set foot on another celestial body. Owning a pin that commemorates this monumental achievement is not just about owning a piece of history—it’s about keeping the spirit of exploration alive.

This is a high quality enamel lapel pin, a tribute to the plaque which the Apollo 11 astronauts left behind on the Moon in commemoration of the historic event. The plaque is made of stainless steel and was attached to the ladder on the landing gear strut on the descent stage of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module (LM).

Webb Telescope Mission Lapel Pin

Webb Telescope Mission Lapel Pin - The Space Store

NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, the agency’s successor to the famous Hubble telescope, launched December 25, 2021, and now serves as the flagship astrophysics mission. The Webb Telescope was jointly developed by NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Canadian Space Agency and is already responsible for numerous important observations of the universe, including the most distant supermassive black hole ever seen

Unlike the Hubble telescope, Webb does not orbit around the Earth. Instead, it’s positioned 1.5 million kilometers (1 million miles) away from the Earth at the second Lagrange point, or L2, where it orbits the Sun from a safe distance.

NASA SpaceX Crew 4 Mission Lapel Pin

Space history is still being made today, thanks to dedicated engineers and astronauts.

NASA's SpaceX Crew-4 mission was a six-month science expedition to the International Space Station (ISS) that launched on April 27, 2022 from the Kennedy Space Center. The mission was the fourth crew rotation to use the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft and Falcon 9 rocket as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. The crew included Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines, Jessica Watkins, and Samantha Cristoforetti.

This is a high quality, enamel 1" lapel pin from AB Emblem featuring a striking dragonfly design, the iconography of this mission.
