Celebrating the launch of SpaceX Crew-11 and progress toward Mars
The upcoming launch of SpaceX Crew-11 is one of many exciting recent milestones for the aerospace enthusiast crowd. While SpaceX prepares to send another group of astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), The Space Store is proud to offer a selection of official memorabilia that commemorates the mission.
Scheduled for launch on July 31, 2025, the SpaceX Crew-11 mission marks a pivotal chapter in NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. This mission will transport four esteemed astronauts (NASA’s Zena Cardman and Michael Fincke, JAXA’s Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos’ Oleg Platonov) to the ISS.
Each of these crew members brings a wealth of experience and anticipation as they prepare for this journey. The Crew Dragon spacecraft will be propelled by a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, traversing the skies to reach low Earth orbit.
As always, ISS missions are carefully scheduled to ensure that the station is adequately resupplied and that crew handovers occur smoothly. This mission follows on the heels of some major events, like the arrival of private astronaut missions and cargo flights that support ongoing research and operations aboard the station.
This launch also coincides with NASA’s broader Artemis program, which seeks to extend human presence to the Moon and beyond (eventually to Mars, let’s all hope). The Artemis program has only received relatively quiet coverage in mainstream news, but it’s an essential stepping stone in getting boots on the ground on other planets. At The Space Store, we’re watching these incremental missions with baited breath and tracking progress carefully.
Crew-11’s activities aboard the ISS will contribute to the research and preparation necessary for long-duration space missions. The preparation for these endeavors happens over a pretty long timeline, but still, we think it’s incredibly exciting to be alive to witness each stage.
Official SpaceX Crew-11 Products from The Space Store

Collectors and space aficionados will be thrilled by The Space Store’s array of Crew-11 memorabilia. We’ve long been fans of the artwork specific to each NASA and SpaceX mission, and this official design is one of many in a long lineage of carefully crafted symbology.
Personally, I’m drawn to what appears to be two rays of sunlight coming down from the heavens, and the dragon’s gaze upward. The beams look like they could be meant to form an “11,” and the blue eye of the dragon is pretty clearly a reference to the famous Pale Blue Dot, which also features the Earth as a mote of dust in similarly-appearing rays of sunlight. There’s a lot more to be said here, like always, but we’ll leave that to you.
