Commemorating NASA Mars Perseverance Mission with many great collectibles!

NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover touched down safely in Jezero Crater on Mars on 18 February, kicking off a new era of exploration on the red planet in which rocks will be collected and returned to Earth for the first time.

The mission's goal is to explore Jezero Crater and collect rock samples from the river delta and an ancient lake that might hold evidence of past Martian life. Ultimately, the rover will leave those samples at certain spots on the Martian ground where future spacecraft can retrieve them — making Perseverance the first step in a multi-decadal effort to bring Mars rocks to Earth.

The Space Store is now selling NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover commemorative coin. The coin is made right here in the Space Coast! Commemorating the landing of the Perseverance Rover on the Red Planet! A limited mintage of 10,000, this coin measures 39mm in diameter and it is struck with a scene of the Rover on Mars on the obverse and the Mars Perseverance emblem on the reverse. The coin is protected in an acrylic capsule to preserve its condition and delivered in a black velour jewelry box with a certificate of authenticity. Proudly made in the USA by The Highland Mint.
