This pendant was handmade out of Gibeon Iron Meteorite. Gibeon Is one of the best Iron meteorites. Gibeon is harder to find and has a limited supply. A lot of the time Muonionalusta is mistaken for Gibeon. This is not Muonionalusta.

This iron meteorite came from one of the largest iron meteorite finds in Namibia, Africa. This very beautiful and unusual meteorite was first found in 1836, although native inhabitants knew about it before then. Most specimens show flight markings and evidence of a violent atmospheric breakup. A beautiful fine octahedrite pattern when etched and is very resistant to rust because of the tight fitting crystals, lack of inclusions, and high nickel content. It also displays a beautiful Widmanstaten Pattern.

The bail is made out of (925) sterling silver.

Makes a great and unique gift from out of this world.
Meteorites are older and rarer than diamonds.
