Marsquakes, as they’re unsurprisingly known, have only been detected recently, but we have collected enough data by now to be able to understand them pretty well while also developing a deeper grasp on what it is that makes Mars’ makeup so unique.

The development of Chandra took place 20 years ago, and two whole decades later, we are continuing to learn more about space thanks to its existence.

As we acknowledge the 50th anniversary of NASA’s Apollo, we remember that this powerful force has only been around for a handful of decades.
