World Space Museum: In This Decade: Gemini 8 Model
The Gemini VIII successfully docked with the Gemini Agena target vehicle (GATV), which marked the first successful orbital space docking. Techinical issues arose and forced the Gemini VIII to uncouple early and return to Earth.
