This artist’s depiction of a black hole shows an object millions of times more massive than our Sun. As it draws material in by the inextricable force of gravity, some gas and dust gets slingshot around, forming a high-velocity jet shooting out into space. Such black holes lie in the centers of galaxies and are among the most powerful objects in the entire universe.
This richly colored, high-resolution image includes 500 pieces and measures 15" x 21" upon completion. Included is a bonus poster for reference during assembly.
