The Association of Space Explorers was formed in 1985 by small group of US, Russian and international fliers who met in Cernay, France, the Association of Space Explorers (ASE) is an international nonprofit professional and educational organization of over 395 astronauts and cosmonauts from 35 nations.
As the only professional association for space fliers, ASE supports the advancement of space exploration by providing opportunities for communication among space professionals at the international level. ASE works closely with other space organizations to expand international dialogue on such issues as crew safety, operational compatibility, and the potential hazards of near earth objects. ASE regularly sponsors international discussions among astronauts and cosmonauts on space flight operations.
The Space Store ships packages every business day. We ship worldwide and use US Postal and UPS. We pass on our discounted US Postal and UPS rates to you. We further have set the International US Postal Rates 20% below that rate, to help with shipping costs.
All International shipments may have customs, duties or taxes added, to your order. The recipient of the package is responsible for these costs. Please contact your local customs or Postal Authorities, to know what these fees may be.
Some of our products are shipped directly from the supplier to our customers. Depending on the location of the particular supplier, the shipment may take up to ten days.
For 'oversized packages' and custom models, ACTUAL SHIPPING charges will apply and NOT what the shopping cart shows for shipping. The cart cannot compute over-sized packages. You will be notified what the shipping options and pricing will be.
CUSTOMS / DUTIES / TAXES
International orders likely will have customs, duties and / or taxes imposed on your shipment, before receiving your package. All of these costs are the customers responsibility. We are required to fill out the forms when we ship your package. We ALWAYS lower the price, near or cost, as to help reduce what may be imposed and charged to our customers.
RETURNS:
Returns are accepted and given full refunds, if the item is returned in the original condition received. Refunds are then authorized and made to the method of payment that was made.
Special Orders, such as the Replica Apollo Suit cannot be cancelled, once ordered. Art Prints, Astronaut Suits and Models once shipped, cannot be cancelled. If returned, there is a 15% restocking fee. All orders older than 30 days that are returned for any reason, are also charged a 10% restocking fee.
