Chemistry for Kids

Scientists such as Marie Curie, Alessandra Volta and Tu Youyou created life changing experiments and now kids can follow along and pretend to be chemists as well. Try to replicate medical disinfectants by making soap from soap base, oil and citrus peels or extract compounds from plants for cosmetics. Each step-by-step experiment is illustrated to help kids understand the process as well as gives a background of the scientist who created the original experiment. 

Chemistry has been around for over 250 years when measurement, mathematics and the scientific method began being applied to experimentation. Elemental discoveries that followed gave scientists the building blocks of matter for the first time in history. Within this experimentation creations have helped make our lives better.
