Space Shuttle Mission STS-127 is a planned space shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS). It will use the Space Shuttle Endeavour and is scheduled to launch on June 13, 2009. However, Endeavour will first serve as the STS-400 rescue vehicle for STS-125 and is being prepared for a possible liftoff on May 15, 2009, three days after the scheduled launch of STS-125. The primary purpose of the STS-127 mission is to deliver and install the final two components of the Japanese Experiment Module: the Exposed Facility, and the Exposed Section of the Experiment Logistics Module.
