Triceratops Bone
Triceratops lived during the Cretaceous period and were prevalent in South Dakota in the Hell Creek Formation. This specimen derives from this same location.
Triceratops belonged to the Ceratopsids family which meant they were quadrupeds with bony frills, horns, and beak-like mouths. This piece of Triceratops bone measures approximately .75” to 1.5” in length but shapes and sizes vary between each sample.
Each specimen is housed in a glass topped Riker box measuring 4x3x1 inches. An information card is included with each sample.
