The WB-57 is a mid-wing, long-range aircraft designed for extended operations, capable of flying from sea level to altitudes above 60,000 feet. It has two crew members seated in tandem within the forward fuselage. The pilot's station is equipped with all necessary flight controls, while the sensor equipment operator (SEO) station is outfitted with navigation tools and controls for managing the payloads distributed throughout the aircraft. The WB-57 can fly for around 6.5 hours, has a range of approximately 2,500 miles, and can carry up to 8,800 pounds of payload.
